RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 50 mm x 12 mm x 1 mVersatile and strong, this flat aluminium bar from the RS PRO range is commonly used in the manufacturing and construction industries. Its a useful component for high-stress applications as it has a tensile strength of 310 MPa, which means it can bear a significant load before it warps or breaks. The aluminium bar is made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082 and is corrosion-resistant. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk, the alloy is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. Available in 1-metre lengths with a width of 50 mm and thickness of 12 mm, the flat narrow shape makes this a versatile choice for transport applications.
