RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 25 mm x 1 mThis lightweight round metal bar from the RS PRO series is strong enough to bear heavy weights. The 6082-T6 aluminium rod is popular for use in high-stress conditions in the construction and manufacturing industries. This rod is suitable to both indoor and outdoor applications as it is corrosion-resistant and can withstand air, water and heat exposure. With a tensile strength of 310 MPa, it can resist a large amount of stress before bending, warping or breaking. This makes it particularly suitable when building bridges, trusses or cranes. This metal rod is made from medium-strength 6082 aluminium alloy – the strongest of the 6000 alloy series. The rod can be shaped by heat treating to fit your requirements. Youll find this aluminium rod used in many transport applications.
