This panel-mount PID controller (proportional integral derivative) from the RS PRO range uses a precise control loop mechanism to keep equipment temperatures stable. Standard controllers perform a binary switching function (on/off), which can lead to overshoots and lag in process temperatures. PID controllers use feedback from a thermocouple instead, which keeps process temperatures consistent as the user setpoint. This temperature controller is very easy to program and use. It has a large, clear LED display, a quick set-up menu and a simple three-button operation. A sturdy panel-mount provides versatile mounting possibilities and space-saving benefits. As theyre extremely effective at responding to sudden fluctuations, PID temperature controllers are widely used in all manner of industries.
