This is where the PID controller (proportional integral derivative) from the RS PRO range really shows its worth, by using a precise control loop mechanism to maintain sensitive equipment at a stable temperature. Standard controllers use an on/off switching function to control temperature, which can cause a lag in process temperatures. The more advanced PID controllers use feedback from a thermocouple to keep process temperatures as close to the user setpoint as possible. This temperature controller is easily programmed, with a large, clear LED display and three-button operation. Its designed for panel mounting in a variety of ways, which is ideal if space is limited.
