It uses a probe to precisely locate edges, grooves or shoulders in a structure. An indicator lamp illuminates when it touches a surface or an object. The edge finder is suitable for CNC (computer numerical control) machining, as well as for more conventional manufacturing equipment. It has a repeatability of 0.01 mm, ensuring accurate measurement. The probe works with any electrically conductive material and it runs reliably off a single 12 V battery. This edge finder has been tested extensively to meet our strict RS PRO standards for reliability and safety.
