RS PRO USB Connector, Panel Mount, Socket, Solder, Straight-Single PortLooking for a USB connector that will handle the elements? This RS PRO USB connector panel-mount socket is waterproof and tailored to outdoor LED displays and wireless access points. With a current rating of 1.5 A and a voltage rating of 500 V, it has one port and is designed for use with female USB-A connectors. The panel-mount socket has copper-alloy gold-plated contacts for your USB signal. This is set in a copper-alloy nickel-plated shell. An IP68 rating means the unit is able to resist water, dust and dirt. The connector has tight red silicone O-Rings, which further weatherproof the connection. With EMI (electromagnetic interference) shield plates, it also protects your signal from external interference. This connector conforms to a host of international standards that ensure protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). As part of our RS PRO range, its made from high-grade materials and has been stringently tested for quality and durability.
