RS PRO Light Duty, Medium Duty Momentary Foot Switch – Steel Case Material, SPST-1NO, 10 A Contact Current, 250 VThis RS PRO momentary foot switch lets you use foot pressure to change contacts within an electrical circuit. Its mainly found in large machinery, where operating a hand switch may be a safety concern. You can also use it for general purpose applications, including sewing machines, hoists and medical equipment. Theres a hardwearing casing made from steel. It has dimensions of (L) 75.5 mm x (H) 21.5 mm x (W) 103.5 mm. The casing is IP68 rated, so its resistant to dust and can be submerged in water up to a depth of 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes. It comes with a low action break before making SPDT (single pole double throw) contact, so the switch is normally open. This means it needs to be closed to complete the circuit.
