RS PRO Door and Window Switch Surface Mount 500 (DC) mA, 50 V DCThese RS PRO door and window switches are well-suited for use with both commercial and residential alarm systems to deter intruders away from your home or business. When a window (or door) fitted with the switch is opened, the signal it generates is broken, alerting the alarm system. A 500 (DC) mA switching current provides a reliable power level thats unlikely to be burnt out. The switches come with a 300 mm-long cable, so you can fit them onto doors and windows without restricting where to install the actual alarm. Both the switch and the permanent actuating magnet are a moulded construction that allows for a discreet installation. There is also a separate tamper loop built into the switch, so youll know if anyone has interfered with it.
