Description
Festo Pneumatic Manual Control Valve - SV Series - SV-5-M5-B This compact pneumatic valve from Festos SV range allows for quick changes in flow directions. The valves quick coupling system makes it easy to fit to an actuator. It operates with clean precision, so there is no overflow between the exhaust gas and intake channels during switching. It also has two positions and five ports for connector or hose attachments. The manual control valve can be used to actuate pneumatic cylinders, rodless cylinders and grippers for fast and reliable airflow control. • SV series panel mount manual control valve with M5 connection port • Robust plastic body • Maximum operating pressure of 8 bar • Operating temperature of -10 °C to +60 °C • Lightweight at 53 g • Nominal size of 2.3 mm • Monostable poppet valve with mechanical spring return • Reliable quick coupling system • No overlap and minimal leakage • RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant • Reliability, value and long service life are the benchmarks of Festos SV Series, helping reduce running costs • The range is useful in a wide range of applications • The series is designed for use with actuators with pushbuttons, switches and mushroom pushbuttons • The valve structure prevents overflow between channels and allows for some self-cleaning by airflow during operation • The valves are operated by compressed air to ISO 8573-1:2010 air-quality standards
