This is a robust device thats made from hardwearing Duroplast, copper and steel, with copper as the winding material. Its rated IP65 for ingress protection, so its sealed against dust and can stand up to jets of water. Solenoid coils are commonly used in the pneumatic systems that control factory automation, as well as in other applications ranging from fairground rides to medical equipment.
