Festo Rod Clevis, M16 x 1.5 - SG Series - SG-M16X1.5 Eliminate high torsional forces in pneumatic cylinder drives with this rod clevis from Festo. Its fitted to the threaded front end of the piston rod and allows a swivelling movement of the cylinder in one plane. The rod eye has a spherical shape for use with a matching spherical bearing. A wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C makes this a versatile product for use in demanding industrial and automation applications.• For use with ISO (International Standards Organisation) cylinders • Galvanised steel construction for improved corrosion resistance • Free from copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for corrosion-resistance and safety Application Information • Manufacturing industry • Packaging industry • Energy and utilities sector Can I use this unit with my existing system? This unit meets DIN 71752 standards for mounting dimensions of rod-end clevises. This makes it compatible with most common modular systems. How so I install clevis-mount cylinders safely? When using a rod clevis, ensure that the pivot pin centre lines for the rod and cylinder are on the same axis. The centre line of the cylinders pivot pin must also rotate on an axis parallel to the pivot pin of the cleavis.
