Festo Floating Joint For Use With Cylinder - FK Series - FK-M16X1.5 Use this rod coupler from Festo to link the piston rod end of a cylinder to a pneumatic machine part. It simplifies alignment by compensating for radial misalignment and angular deviations of the rods central axis by up to approximately 1 mm. The sturdy and functional rod coupler is made from stainless steel, which retains its strength at any temperature. This means you can be sure of its dependability, regardless of whether youre using it in a hot or cold environment. Good anti-corrosive properties increase the couplers life span and ensure it wont rust easily. Its bushing, housing and nut are made of robust galvanised steel, which can endure harsh industrial environments without being adversely affected. This attachment is suitable for use with all Festo pneumatic cylinder types.• Self-aligning to compensate for misalignments • Wide ambient temperature range of -40°C to +150°C to meet the temperature demands of most industrial applications • Free from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and copper to prevent the risk of blistering and shrinkage • Ball pin and spherical washer made from case-hardened steel for improved strength and reliability • Compatible with other components in the Festo range of piston rod attachments
