Its 2-pin female connector locks into a threaded chassis socket for fast and easy connection and disconnection. A crimp termination means theres no need to solder and your connections are protected against wear-and-tear as well as changes in vibration or temperature. Compatible with wires up to 6 mm in diameter, this straight, shielded connector is designed for effective grounding and noise reduction when used with a shielded cable. With its nickel enclosure and tin-plated contacts, it ensures a secure connection thats resistant to corrosion. As part of the RS PRO series, this connector has been rigorously tested and meets British and EU standards for electrostatic discharge. Miniature connectors such as these are often used for industrial and automotive applications.
