RS PRO Heating Element, 1.8 kWThis drum heater jacket from RS PRO offers an efficient method for melting or reducing the viscosity of products like waxes and soaps. Ideal for industrial use the heater achieves high product temperatures up to +220°C. Quick and easy to fit, the drum heater is supplied with quick-release buckles and 4 metres of robust rubber power cable, which can be fitted with a range of thermostats. Constructed with an outer layer of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene or Teflon) coated glass fabric, this heater jacket offers superior thermal transfer properties and is excellent at maintaining consistent product temperatures. A double-layer insulated drum lid is included with the jacket, to ensure no heat loss.
