The silicone mat has a lower thermal mass than most other conductors, so its very responsive to temperature control. It can be connected to heat control devices like thermocouples and light switches and used for a variety of temperature regulation purposes. These silicone heater mats are self-adhesive, so you can install them without any equipment or tape.
